Terms of service

1. Service status

Monarka is currently in open beta. This means that:

• The service is offered as is, without express or implied warranties of availability, accuracy or fitness for a particular purpose.
• We may change features, pricing or data structure with reasonable advance notice. If a change affects you, we will let you know.
• It is free of charge during the beta. If we introduce a paid plan in the future, beta users will receive advance notice and the option to export their data first.

2. Who can use the Application

To use Monarka you must be at least 16 years old and have legal capacity to enter into contracts in your jurisdiction. If you use it on behalf of a company, you declare that you have authority to bind it to these terms.

3. Your account

• You are responsible for keeping your credentials confidential and for all activity that takes place under your account.
• If you detect unauthorized access, let us know as soon as possible.
• A single person may not maintain multiple accounts under different identities to evade service limits.

4. Acceptable use

You agree not to use the Application to:

• Commit or facilitate illegal acts, money laundering, terrorism financing or tax evasion.
• Upload content that violates third-party rights (intellectual property, privacy, honor).
• Attempt to compromise the platform's security — unauthorized automated scanning, reverse engineering, attempts to extract other users' data.
• Use bots or scripts that generate disproportionate load on the service.

If we detect use that violates these rules, we may suspend or close the account, with notice when possible.

5. Your data remains yours

You own all the information you load into Monarka — vaults, accounts, transactions, categories, notes. We receive a limited, non-exclusive license to process it for the sole purpose of providing the service (showing balances, computing installments, generating reports).

You can export all your data from the app whenever you want. How we treat it in detail lives in our privacy policy.

6. Monarka intellectual property

The name “Monarka”, the logo, the design, the code and the brand are property of the Monarka team and are protected by applicable intellectual property laws. These terms do not grant you any license over them beyond ordinary use of the application.

7. Limitation of liability

Monarka is an expense tracking tool. It is not financial, legal or accounting advice. Decisions you make based on the information you see in the app are your responsibility.

To the maximum extent permitted by law, we are not liable for:

• Indirect losses, lost profits, reputational damage or consequences arising from the use or inability to use the service.
• Errors in data manually entered by you or calculations derived from them.
• Service interruptions caused by factors beyond our reasonable control (cloud providers, DDoS attacks, force majeure events).

8. Cancellation

You can close your account from the app at any time. When you do, we delete your personal data as described in the privacy policy.

We may suspend or close your account if you violate these terms, if the legal operation of the service is compromised, or if we decide to discontinue the beta. In the latter case we will give you at least 30 days advance notice and time to export your data.

9. Changes to these terms

If we update these terms, we publish the new version at this same URL and, if the change is material, we will email you before it takes effect. If you continue using the Application after the notice, we assume you accept the new terms.

10. Governing law and jurisdiction

These terms are governed by the laws of the Republic of Paraguay. Any dispute we cannot resolve in good faith will be submitted to the ordinary courts of the city of Asunción, without prejudice to the consumer rights applicable in your jurisdiction of residence.
